Fish and other underwater creatures fill the regular symbol set, while maps, treasure chests and the Kraken identify the feature triggers. Release the Kraken has five reels, four rows and 20 fixed paylines. A regular win needs matching symbols on consecutive reels, beginning with the first reel and following one of those active lines. The number of paylines does not change when the stake is adjusted.
Sea creatures and treasure-related images make up the standard paytable. The Kraken is the Wild and can replace regular paying symbols to complete or extend a line. It does not replace dedicated feature symbols.
The Map Scatter opens the Sunken Treasure Bonus when at least three appear. Bonus Chest symbols have a separate role. Release the Kraken bonus features
The Release the Kraken bonus features split into triggered rounds and surprise events. Map Scatters and Bonus Chests lead away from the base game, while the three Kraken attacks can occur during ordinary paid spins.
Sunken Treasure Bonus
Three or more Map Scatter symbols trigger the Sunken Treasure Bonus and move play to a screen filled with chests. Each chosen chest can add Free Spins to the running total. The picking stage ends when the Collect result appears, and the accumulated number becomes the Free Spins award.
The choices affect how many spins enter the round, but they do not change the stake already used to trigger it. Once Collect appears, no further chests can be opened.
Roaming Kraken Wilds and multiplier
Kraken Wilds can land during the Sunken Treasure Free Spins. A collected Wild remains part of the feature but changes position between spins instead of staying on one fixed square. This movement can place the substitute on a different payline from one result to the next.
Each Kraken Wild collected also raises the bonus multiplier by 1. The growing value gives later line wins a different calculation if more Wilds have joined the round. A larger multiplier still needs a qualifying payline win before it can affect the payout.
Chest of Fortune

For the Colossal Kraken Wild event, the monster covers a 3x3 area across the middle reels. Nine positions then act as Wilds for that result. Its central placement can connect symbols across several fixed paylines, although each combination still has to follow the standard left-to-right rule.
Infectious Kraken Wilds
Infectious Kraken Wilds spread into adjacent reel positions and turn the affected symbols Wild. The converted positions are assessed as substitutes with the rest of the grid. This is different from the Colossal event, which places one fixed 3x3 block, and from the standard Wild event, which adds separate Wilds at random.
