Play Diamond Mine Megaways slot online
Play Diamond Mine Megaways online at the BetWright casino and head beneath a dusty frontier town in search of gems. Six main reels change height from spin to spin, while a separate horizontal reel can place Wilds above the middle four reels. At full size, the grid creates up to 117,649 ways to win.
Paying symbols cascade away, TNT barrels can reveal a matching set of Mystery Symbols and four Gold Bag Scatters open 12 Free Spins. Once the bonus starts, each successful cascade raises a multiplier that can keep building across the feature. Real-money stakes are available, and a Diamond Mine Megaways demo lets you learn the mechanics with virtual credit first.
Diamond Mine Megaways overview
The Diamond Mine Megaways slot takes place below an old Wild West settlement, where a bearded prospector leads the search underground. Diamonds and mining equipment occupy the higher end of the symbol set, while playing-card ranks cover the lower values. Gold Bags and TNT barrels are easy to pick out because both have a role in the game’s bonus mechanics.
This was Blueprint Gaming’s first Megaways release, and it retains the studio’s character-led style and Mystery Symbol mechanic. Those elements give the game its own identity within the Megaways format rather than relying on the changing reels alone.
Each of the six main reels can display between two and seven symbols. The number shown above the grid changes as the reels settle, reaching a maximum of 117,649 ways. A paying combination is made with matching symbols on consecutive reels from left to right. There are no fixed paylines to select, and symbols do not need to sit on the same row.
The extra horizontal reel sits above reels two to five. It is separate from the six main reels and can place Wild symbols over the middle of the grid. Variable reel heights change the number of symbols in view and the routes available through the mine, but a larger layout does not guarantee a return.
Diamond Mine Megaways RTP, volatility and stake range
The Diamond Mine Megaways RTP is 96.43%. RTP is a theoretical average calculated over a large number of rounds, so it cannot predict the result of an individual spin or session.
- Provider: Blueprint Gaming
- Layout: Six changing reels plus one horizontal Wild reel
- Ways to win: Up to 117,649
- RTP: 96.43%
- Volatility: High
- Minimum stake: £0.10 per spin
- Maximum win: 10,000x stake
High volatility means returns can be less frequent and vary more sharply than they would in a lower-volatility game. The 10,000x maximum is a limit built into the slot, not an expected return.
How to play Diamond Mine Megaways
Playing Diamond Mine Megaways does not require you to choose paylines or adjust the reel layout. The main controls cover the stake, game information and spin itself:
- Set the total bet with the controls beside the Spin button. Stakes begin at £0.10 per spin.
- Open the information panel to check the paytable, rules and feature descriptions.
- Press Spin. The game chooses the reel heights and number of active ways for that result.
- Look for matching symbols running from left to right across consecutive reels. Any cascades resolve automatically before the spin ends.
- Count the Gold Bag Scatters when they appear. Four or more activate Free Spins.
Set a budget before starting and do not treat the displayed balance as something that must be recovered. BetWright’s Safer Gambling Hub explains deposit limits, time-outs and other account controls.
Diamond Mine Megaways bonus features
The Diamond Mine Megaways bonus features connect several parts of the game. Cascades can extend the original spin, TNT Mystery Symbols can reshape the grid, the horizontal reel can add Wilds and Free Spins introduce an increasing multiplier.
Cascading wins
After a winning combination is paid, its symbols disappear. Replacements drop into the empty positions and may create another combination. The process continues until the refreshed grid contains no further win, with every cascade remaining part of the original paid spin.
TNT Mystery Symbols
TNT barrels act as Mystery Symbols. When the feature activates, every Mystery Symbol in view changes into the same regular paying symbol. This can connect matching symbols across several reels or set up another cascade, although the symbol selected varies with each activation.
Horizontal Wild reel
The short reel above reels two, three, four and five can land Wild symbols. A Wild substitutes for regular paying symbols and may complete or extend a left-to-right combination. It does not replace Gold Bag Scatters.
Free Spins and the increasing multiplier
Four Gold Bag Scatters award 12 Free Spins. Every additional Scatter in the triggering result adds five more spins, so landing more than the minimum increases the starting number of rounds.
The Free Spins multiplier begins at 1x and rises after cascading wins. Its progress is carried through the bonus rather than returning to 1x after each free spin. There is no stated upper limit for the multiplier, although the game’s overall maximum win still applies.
Extra spins can also be awarded during the feature. Three Scatters add five Free Spins, while four Scatters add ten.
Diamond Mine Megaways real money and demo play
Diamond Mine Megaways is available for real-money play at BetWright. Customers must be 18 or older and eligible to play. Check the amount committed per spin before pressing Spin, as the number of active ways does not alter your chosen total stake.
Diamond Mine Megaways demo
The Diamond Mine Megaways demo is allowing you to inspect the reel changes, cascades and bonus sequence without staking cash. Diamond Mine Megaways free play also makes it easier to see where the horizontal Wild reel sits and how the multiplier behaves once Free Spins begin.
You can play Diamond Mine Megaways free to get used to its high-volatility pace. The Diamond Mine Megaways slot demo uses the same visible mechanics as the cash game, but virtual wins cannot be withdrawn and a short test cannot predict when a feature will appear in future play.
Can you play Diamond Mine Megaways on mobile?
Diamond Mine Megaways is optimised for compatible smartphones and tablets. The six-reel grid scales to the available screen, while the horizontal Wild reel remains above reels two to five. Mystery Symbols, cascading wins and Free Spins follow the same rules as they do on desktop.
Diamond Mine Megaways summary
Diamond Mine Megaways keeps its mining theme closely tied to the action. The changing reels determine how many ways are available, while TNT transformations and the horizontal Wild reel can change what happens after the symbols land. Free Spins bring the strongest shift because the multiplier carries its progress through the bonus.
Cash stakes begin at 10p, with high volatility and a maximum win of 10,000x the stake. The demo is available if you want to understand the feature sequence before choosing real-money play.
