Coffee Dealer - Real Money & Demo Play

Coffee and crime make an unlikely pairing, but Hacksaw Gaming has managed to make the combination work in Coffee Dealer. Set in a playful 1930s rubber hose cartoon world, the game follows Bean and Dean, the Caffeine Cowboys, as they deal coffee through the back streets.

Underneath the cartoon presentation is a 5x5 slot with 19 paylines, expanding Wild Coffee Reels and three different free spins bonuses. The coffee theme runs through almost every part of the game, from the Coffee Cup Wilds to the Mug Life, Brewfather and Espresso Empire bonus rounds.

Coffee, Cowboys and Cartoons

Coffee Dealer takes inspiration from the 1930s rubber hose cartoon style, giving the game a colourful look filled with exaggerated characters and vintage animation influences.

The stars of the show are Bean and Dean, two brothers better known around town as the Caffeine Cowboys. Alongside them, the reels are packed with coffee cups, bean sacks, powder bags, pistols and bundles of cash.

It's a light-hearted setting, but the gameplay has plenty of features to keep an eye on once the reels start spinning.

How to Play Coffee Dealer

Coffee Dealer uses a 5x5 grid with 19 paylines. The base game features regular symbols ranging from 10 through to A, alongside several themed premium symbols.

A combination of five matching symbols pays from 1x for the royal symbols, while the premium symbols can pay between 2x and 6x.

The main feature to watch for is the Coffee Cup, which acts as a Wild and can expand into an entire Wild Coffee Reel.

Wild Coffee Reels

Coffee Cups are the key to Coffee Dealer's gameplay.

The Coffee Cup acts as a Wild, substituting for other symbols on the pay table. When a Coffee Cup lands as part of a winning combination, it can expand into a Wild Coffee Reel before the win is calculated.

Once expanded, between zero and nine additional Coffee Cups can land on the reel. Each Coffee Cup adds +1 to the reel's multiplier, with the multiplier reaching up to x10.

The multiplier applies to any wins involving that Wild Coffee Reel. If several Wild Coffee Reels contribute to the same win, their multipliers above x1 are added together before being applied.

A line containing five Coffee Cups pays 20x the bet.

Mug Life Bonus

Landing three Scatters in the base game triggers 10 free spins in the Mug Life bonus.

Coffee Cups have a greater chance of appearing during this round, giving you more opportunities to land Wild Coffee Reels.

The standard game mechanics remain in place during the bonus, while landing two or three Scatters during free spins awards an additional two or four spins respectively.

Brewfather Bonus

Four Scatters trigger eight free spins in the Brewfather bonus.

Here, things get a little more caffeinated. Whenever a Coffee Cup expands into a Wild Coffee Reel, that reel becomes activated for the rest of the bonus.

Once activated, a Coffee Cup is guaranteed to land on that reel on every subsequent spin, giving the Wild Coffee Reel mechanic a more persistent role throughout the feature.

Espresso Empire

Five Scatters unlock the hidden epic Espresso Empire bonus, awarding 10 free spins.

This is the most advanced of the three bonus rounds, with two Coffee Cups guaranteed to land on every spin.

That means Wild Coffee Reels are a regular part of the action throughout the feature, giving you plenty of opportunities to build up their multipliers.
